Family Reunion

We had the Benson Family Reunion this past weekend. Once might think if you are going to have 58 people attending then it might be extended family but no, just one. It was alot of fun, though. Jen and Jared you can let your parents know that it was awesome and that we really appreciate the time and effort they put into it.

The theme for this years reunion was Survivor. We had a bunch of challenges we had to compete in. I just decided it takes too long to type it all out so if any of you have any questions about what is going on then call me. You know my number.

Below is our nephew Conner. The day prior to this he found out that he has diabetes. You wouldn't even guess it as you can see from this clip. I am so impressed with how he has handled it and also how his mom and dad have helped him to understand it.

On Saturday we did a service project up at South Fork Canyon. We picked up garbage, cleaned out the fire pits as well as pulled the big logs and debris out of the river. That water was so cold that it made my legs ache worse than any race I ever did. I didn't last very long helping with that project.
